Characterization of institutional food offerings

As part of the Governmental Health Prevention Policy (PGPS), the Observatory has been designated to contribute to achieving Measure 3.2, which aims to improve the nutritional quality of food in Quebec.

Ready-to-serve soups

The mandate given by the Government of Quebec to the Observatory for this project was to conduct, alongside sectoral studies, an assessment of existing tools for measuring the quality of food offerings in public settings, starting with health network establishments. Thus, the goal of this research project was to identify measurement tools that allow for the evaluation and monitoring of the quality of food offerings across all health network establishments, with support from the Capitale-Nationale and Chaudière-Appalaches regions.
